About Forget the Office

The essentials

What is Forget the Office?

Forget the Office is the home of the purpose-led entrepreneur — a place to launch, grow and scale an online business you actually love. We bring three worlds that usually live in separate rooms into one: aligned marketing, solid business strategy, and the inner work it takes to hold it all.

The whole idea is that growth shouldn't cost you your health or your life. We help you build something that's genuinely yours — with clarity, ethical marketing that still sounds like you, and support that meets you where you are.

Who is Forget the Office for?

Purpose-led entrepreneurs building an online business — whether you're just starting out, up and running and craving momentum, or established and ready for a real leap.

It's especially for the founders who are full of ideas but stuck in their heads, chronic learners who've bought the courses but haven't used them, and anyone who starts strong then stalls. If you're done doing it alone and ready to actually take action — with support — you're in the right place.

Who is Merce, and who's behind Forget the Office?

Merce Maresma is the founder. She started out as a corporate lawyer in Spain, hit a full neurodivergent burnout, then rebuilt — retraining in digital marketing, running her own agency, and eventually creating the space she wished she'd had.

That mix of strategy, marketing psychology and real human coaching is deliberate, and it's properly qualified: a law degree and business school, a Master's in Digital Marketing, Certified Professional Coach (OCC-I), NLP Practitioner, and Level 1 Coach with the Institute of Applied Psychology in Sydney — plus 7+ years guiding founders. What makes Forget the Office different from other business coaching?

Most programs give you strategy or support — the teaching, or the accountability. We don't split them. You get real business strategy (offer, positioning, pricing, marketing) held alongside the inner and somatic work that lets you actually carry it out.

We're also bold, authentic and inspiring by design: we'll tell you the truth about your offer kindly but straight, we build around your voice rather than a generic template, and we pair real systems with the inner work so you can grow without burning out.

What does "trauma-informed and neuro-affirming" actually mean here?

It means we build with your nervous system and the way your mind actually works — never against it. In practice that looks like three commitments:

  • Trauma-informed — we move at the pace of trust. No shame, no pressure, none of the "just push through it."
  • Neurodivergent-oriented — built by an ADHD founder, for brains that don't run in straight lines. Clear and structured without being rigid.
  • Radically inclusive — everyone belongs here, whatever your race, gender, sexual orientation, background or story.
Do I need to be in a certain place, or is this all online?

Everything runs online, so you can take part from wherever you are. Live sessions happen on video with replays if you can't make it in real time, courses are on demand, and 1:1 coaching is over video with support in between. Wherever you're based, we can work together.

Ways to work together

Three paths, one place to grow

What are the different ways I can work with you?

There are three:

  • The Motion Collective — our membership and community. Ongoing clarity, live coaching and accountability at an accessible commitment.
  • Building Cycles — group coaching and self-paced courses that give you the roadmap, the momentum and the peers to build alongside.
  • The Partnership — deep, personalised 1:1 coaching with Merce.
I'm not sure which one is right for me — how do I choose?

Two easy ways. Take the 2-minute path finder on our home page — answer four quick questions and it points you to the path that fits where you are right now.

Or, if you'd rather talk it through, book a free 30-minute Clarity Call. We'll map where you are and the smartest next step — no pressure, no obligation, even if that step isn't with us.

Do I have to pick just one?

Not at all — they're designed to meet you at different stages and can build on each other. Many people start in the membership or a course and move into 1:1 work (or vice versa) as their needs change. If you're weighing more than one, a Clarity Call is the fastest way to find your best starting point.

The Motion Collective

The membership

What is the Motion Collective?

It's our membership and community — built to close the gap between knowing what to do and actually doing it. You get both halves that get you there: the clarity to know your next move, and the execution — community, accountability and challenges — to actually make it happen, week after week. See the full membership →

What's included in the membership?

Clarity and execution, on a rhythm built around your week, month and quarter:

  • Every week — a Priority Call and a Coworking Session
  • Every month — Hot Seat Coaching and a Sharing Circle
  • Every quarter — a Content Challenge
  • Anytime — the Motion Toolkit & Library of trainings, plus a private community group
When does it open and how do I join?

The Motion Collective is opening soon and you can join the waitlist now for early-bird access — waitlisters hear about the launch date, pricing and bonuses first. The current date and all the details live on the Motion Collective page.

How much does it cost, and how does billing work?

There's a monthly option and an annual option (paying for the year saves you money). We keep the live figures on the Motion Collective page so they're always current — head there for exact pricing and billing terms, or join the waitlist to get them the moment doors open.

Do I have to show up live?

No. The live calls, coworking, coaching and circles are there when you want them — and every live session is recorded, so you can catch the replay whenever it suits you. The Motion Toolkit and Library are always on demand. You'll get the full schedule the moment you join.

Who is the Motion Collective not for?

It's not for anyone looking for a magic bullet or a done-for-you shortcut. The membership gives you the clarity, community and accountability — but you're the one building. If you're ready to do real work with real support, it's for you. If you want someone to do it for you, it isn't.

Building Cycles

Courses & group coaching

What is Building Cycles?

It's where you learn to launch and grow your business — a clear path of trainings from Foundations to Advanced. You can learn through live group coaching or self-paced courses, take a single training on its own, or follow the whole path. Explore what's inside →

What trainings are included?

Four, designed to build on each other:

  • Launch Your Own Business — offer, positioning and your first steps to launch (Foundations)
  • Marketing Level 1: Learn Content — content that connects and converts
  • Marketing Level 2: Funnel — a funnel that turns attention into clients
  • Marketing Level 3: Learn Ads — run ads to scale your reach and revenue

Take any one on its own, or follow the full path in order.

What's the difference between group coaching and self-paced courses?

Same trainings, your pace. Group coaching is live with Merce and a group beside you — direct feedback on your actual business, a schedule that keeps you accountable, and limited spots so support stays personal. Self-paced courses are on demand — lifetime access with updates, templates and worksheets, moving entirely on your own schedule.

Choose group coaching if you do your best work with deadlines and people around you; choose self-paced if your schedule is unpredictable and you'd rather move solo.

Can I take just one training, or do I have to do all four?

Either. Every training is available on its own if that's all you need — or take the whole path, which is the best value versus buying each one separately. See the trainings →

When does Building Cycles open, and what does it cost?

Building Cycles is opening soon — join the waitlist and you'll be first in when doors open, plus you'll hear about pricing and bonuses before anyone else. The current launch date and all details are on the Building Cycles page.

The Partnership

1:1 coaching

What is the Partnership?

It's Forget the Office's 1:1 coaching — deep, personalised work with Merce. The method braids three things that only work together: business strategy (the plan), somatic embodiment (the body), and motion (the movement) — so the decision, the capacity to make it, and the action to carry it out all arrive at once. More on the Partnership →

What's the difference between the Momentum and Anchor cycles?

Same method, different depth. Momentum is a shorter, focused sprint to break a stall and make a specific move — a launch, an offer, a price rise. Anchor is a deeper, multi-month cycle for identity-level change and a business rebuilt on steadier ground. Not sure which is yours? That's exactly what the discovery call is for. See the cycles →

Do I need any experience with somatic work?

None at all. You don't need experience or any particular belief about it — just a willingness to notice what's happening in your body. Merce guides every part of it; nothing is weird or woo, and everything is optional.

Is this business coaching or personal coaching?

Both, on purpose. We work on real business strategy — offer, pricing, positioning, your next move — while working with the nervous system that has to carry it out. Most of us already know what to do and still don't do it; the gap isn't knowledge, it's what happens in the body when it's time to decide, charge more, or be seen. The Partnership closes that gap.

What if I only want one session, not a whole cycle?

That's what single sessions and packs are for — the same 1:1 work in a lighter commitment. Start with one deep-dive session, or take a pack when you want more room to move. If you want to go deeper later, what you invest can roll into a full cycle. See sessions & packs →

How do we meet, and how much does it cost?

Sessions are 1:1 over video, with voice-note support in between — so wherever you are, we can work together. Because the right fit and rhythm are personal, the investment is shared on your discovery call (payment plans are available). It's a real conversation, not a hard sell. Book a call to start →

Is 1:1 coaching safe if I'm neurodivergent or carry a trauma history?

Yes — it's built for exactly that. The Partnership is trauma-informed and neurodivergent-oriented: we move at the pace of trust, work with your nervous system rather than overriding it, and shape the work around how you're actually wired. Nothing here asks you to push through or mask.

Getting started

First steps

I'm brand new — where should I start?

Start with the 2-minute path finder to see which way of working fits where you are, or book a free Clarity Call and we'll help you map it out. There's no wrong door — the point is just to find your next step, not your whole roadmap at once.

What is a Clarity Call?

A free, no-obligation 30-minute call with Merce to map where you are and the smartest next move for you. If we're a good fit, we'll walk you through the ways to work together. If not, we'll point you in the right direction anyway. Either way, you leave with clarity — no pressure. Book your call →
